Medihill Golf Club has renewed contracts with Lee Da-yeon, a former KLPGA Tour member, and Anna Lin, a former LPGA Tour member, and Hong Ye-eun, Kim Na-young, Lee Chae-eun, and Jung Ji-hyo have been newly recruited.
Lee Da-yeon, who returned to the tour in 2022 after a long period of rehabilitation due to elbow surgery, announced her successful return by winning a total of eight major championships last year at the Chris F&C KLPGA Championship and Hana Financial Group Championship. The renewal will see Lee spend 10 years on tour wearing only one sponsor’s Mediheal cap. 안전놀이터
Lee Da-yeon said, “I feel comfortable as a family because I have always been with Medi-Hill, my first sponsor since I became a professional. I feel very proud as a player to be able to play for the same team for 10 years through this contract. I will do my best to remain a good player who can be an example in the tour in the future.”
Hong Ye-eun, who started her LPGA Tour career when she was a high school student, won a full seed at No. 18 in the KLPGA seed ranking and advanced to the domestic tour.
In addition, Kim Na-young, who was considered a long hitter in the Dream Tour, the second division of the KLPGA, will advance to the regular tour as the 5th place in the prize money ranking.
MediHill also took an active step in fostering prospects by recruiting Jung Ji-hyo, a second-year student at Haksan Girls’ High School, who is likely to be selected for the national team.
Lee Chae-eun, who returned to Medihill after two years, and the eight-member Medihill Golf Team, including Ahn Ji-hyun and Choi Hye-yong, have built a stronger lineup than any other season.
