GS Caltex held a ceremony to donate the entire proceeds of the charity auction, 11,750,000 won, to the Korea Social Welfare Association for single-parent families and foster families during the 13th game of the Dodram 2023-24 V-League home game against Hyundai Engineering & Construction on the 3rd.
The charity auction with the ‘Energy Plus’ kickers, which was held through the ‘Seoul Auction’ site last September, included training clothes such as uniforms and training clothes worn or kept by GS Caltex players and commemorating the victory in the ‘2023 Gumi-Dodram Cup Professional Volleyball Tournament’. T-shirts and other cherished items personally presented by all GS Caltex players for fans were exhibited and received a great response from fans.
The item that was sold at the highest price was GS Caltex’s outside heater Kang So-hwi’s item (a sleeveless practice uniform with an actual autograph), which was sold for 2.2 million won. 스포츠토토사이트
Captain Kang So-hwi said, “Continuing from last year, this year we will also support children from single-parent families and foster homes. This was possible thanks to the fans who participated with love in the charity auction event. “If I have the opportunity, I will continue to participate in activities for underprivileged neighbors every year,” he said.
Kang Dae-seong, president of the Korean Social Welfare Association, said, “I would like to thank everyone involved in the GS Caltex volleyball team for sharing the love they received from fans back to society. The Korean Social Welfare Association will do its best to support low-income single-parent families so that they can become economically independent in society and raise their children well.”
