Korea’s men’s basketball world ranking has dropped to 53rd place.

According to the world ranking released by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) on the 16th (Korea time) after the 2024 Paris Olympics, Korea fell three places from 50th place to 53rd place in February this year.

The U.S., which won the Paris Olympics, still maintained its No. 1 ranking, and Serbia moved up two places from fourth to second.

France, which faced the U.S. in the final round of the Paris Olympics, jumped from ninth to fourth. Third place Germany remained unchanged.

Australia ranked the highest in FIBA Asia, followed by Japan (21st), New Zealand (22nd), Iran (28th), Lebanon (29th), China (30th), the Philippines (34th), and Jordan (35th).

FIBA rankings will be adjusted after major competitions are over, and a new ranking has been made in about six months since February this year.
