U.S.-based casino operator Wynn Resorts Ltd. announced that company executive Craig Billings had stepped down as president as of May 24. The company has not announced a successor.
Mr. Billings will remain chief financial officer of Wynn Resorts. He was also named president and CEO of Wynn Interactive Ltd., a subsidiary of Wynn Resorts that operates online sports betting and gaming businesses. Wynn Interactive’s term ends in 2022.
The announcement was made in a company filing released on Friday.
Earlier this month, Wynn Resorts announced that Wynn Interactive would merge with an Ostelitz acquisition company to continue growing the group’s online sports betting and iGaming business. Upon closing of the proposed transaction, the merged company announced at the time that it would retain its name as Wynn Interactive Inc. and relist its shares on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange.
Separately on Thursday, it was announced that Mr Billings had been re-elected as a non-executive director of the board of directors of Macau-based casino operator Wynn Macao Ltd. The latter is a subsidiary of Wynn Resorts. 파워볼실시간
Mr. Billings joined Wynn Resorts in 2017. His work experience includes his work experience with casino equipment supplier Aristocrat Leisure Inc. and NYX Gaming Group Inc. (now part of Scientific Games). He has also previously served as vice president of investment banking for Goldman Sachs in New York and London, which covers the gaming industry, according to previous biographical information released by Wynn Resorts.
